Ultimate Fall Crash (poem, anecdote)

2015 January 7, 2015

Spinning circles contained silence.

Potential carnage, gore, and violence.

180…360…gaurd rail scraping 540.

Eye contact. Adrenaline. Fear.

Brake skid. Uncontrolled. Drear.

I, Langr, Oliver, Donavan, Diogo: stunned.

In the dark, the car backwards, divided, totaled: done.

“We need to get out. Let’s use the sun roof.”
